A 77% sell-through rate was achieved as overall total sales reached $37 million for this 12th-annual event, which broke its own record total set just last year.

(April 15, 2023) WALWORTH, Wis. — Hidden away for more than 50 years, unrestored and retaining both its custom metalwork and lacquer paint dating back to circa 1971, the legendary Rapid Transit Cuda — one of the four original Plymouth Rapid Transit System Caravan traveling road show cars — has been unveiled. It is set to mark its first public appearance in Chiba City, Japan, at Automobile Council 2023, 96 years after its race debut at the 1927 Junior Car Club 200 Mile Race at Brooklands.

(April  7, 2023) WALWORTH, Wis. — Mecum’s Glendale 2023 classic and collector car auction, held March 28-April 1 in Glendale, Ariz., reached $56 million in total overall sales as 1,266 lots hammered sold. With a total 1,667 lots offered throughout the five-day auction, a sell-through rate of 76% was achieved, and individual sales were led by a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing that brought $1.815 million.
