Regardless of the auto industry’s recent efforts at gender diversity (and there are many), a tightly drawn 2+2 with a horizontally opposed four and manual trans could only have been executed by a small, brief outpouring of testosterone.

Subaru is on board with this trend adding the Wilderness package to several products including the new compact Crosstrek, mid-sized Outback and compact Forester.

(January 13, 2024) The Impreza has been a staple in the Subaru fleet for over three decades now and undergoes significant changes as it enters its sixth generation this year.The 2024 Subaru Impreza no longer is offered in Premium and Limited trim levels as fifth-generation Imprezas were, and the sedan configuration has been discontinued.

PASO ROBLES, Calif. — Spring has finally come to California wine country and I’m clipping through tight two-lane roads through vineyards and wineries around Paso Robles.  I’m doing my best to keep eyes on the road, but the greenery and mountains are simply magical.  Yet, the roads and this car demand attention lest I end up a visitor center lawn ornament.  As invigorating is the drive, this little hatchback could just as easily take Miles and Maisey to cello lessons.  I’m driving the completely redesigned 2024 Subaru Impreza RS.

The 2022 Subaru BRZ is much like the '75 280Z in as much as both are — and were — desirable and affordable for those of us with a limited amount of money to realize our motoring dreams.

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — Subaru knows its people, who are among the most loyal to any automotive brand.  They love their Outbacks, Foresters, Ascents, and WRXs.  They are also among the most environmentally conscious, dog-friendly, off-roading auto owners around.  They take their kids to school and hike on the weekends.  What they haven’t had until now is an electric vehicle of their own.  That changes with the 2023 Solterra that I just sampled in California.
